Project Overview
The Digital Information and Repository (DIR) is a first of its kind in Canada solution that enables Criminal Informations received through the eIntake application to be used as digital documents that can be updated, endorsed, retrieved, and shared electronically. Documents and data within DIR are stored in the cloud, allowing court users to search for and access them quickly. The solution enables court services staff to scan and upload other case-related documents and associate them to the Criminal Information, creating digital case files for the Ontario Court of Justice. The DIR is seen as a critical enabler for MAG’s Courts Digital Transformation Initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare appropriate level test cases for functional / unit testing
- Perform functional / unit testing and document results
- Assist other parties groups with their related testing activities (UAT)
- Participate in Knowledge transfer
Qualifications & Requirements
REQUIRED
- Must be able to work 5 days onsite per week in Toronto
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change request and to communicate status of these to all project participants.
- Demonstrated experience in developing test plans, test scripts and test data; documenting software defects and tracking resolutions.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions
- Good analytical, communication skills and ability to work independently and also perform as part of a team.
- Hands on experiences with technologies such as SharePoint, .NET Web, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript
- Knowledge and experience in the use of automated test tools and version control systems on one or more platforms
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
- Demonstrated experience documenting and tracking testing and issue tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, Asana.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
QA Skills - 40 points
- Demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change request and to communicate status of these to all project participants.
Technical Skills - 30 points
- Demonstrated experience documenting and tracking testing and issue tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, Asana.
Business Skills - 25 points
- Demonstrated experience working with clients and technical teams to ensure effective resolution of defects and management of change requests are complete
Public Sector Experience - 5 points
- Previous experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations
