Project Overview

The project supports the TSTx P3 Driver Control & Sanction initiative by designing, building, enhancing, and supporting cloud-native web applications and REST API services, including accessibility-compliant user interfaces, database deployment, and ongoing production support.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business, UX/UI, product, and architecture stakeholders to produce application designs and technical specification documents based on user stories, storyboards, security requirements, and data models
Design, build, test, debug, and maintain full-stack web applications and services
Design and implement overall solution architecture for scalable, high-performance applications
Implement approved user interfaces and design/deploy databases
Design and build REST API services and integrate front-end UIs with APIs
Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines and related DevOps practices
Create object-oriented models and UML design artefacts using tools such as Power Designer
Support quality assurance and defect management activities including unit testing, test automation, vulnerability testing, load testing, accessibility testing, and system/user testing
Construct/enhance/renew cloud-native and PaaS-based applications using microservices, API-based models, responsive web design, and serverless patterns
Provide incident investigation, troubleshooting, fixes, maintenance, and incremental changes for complex production applications
Produce implementation packages/methods of procedure for releases and operational procedures for production support
Coordinate system development activities and provide technical consultative support to other staff
Provide knowledge transfer to ministry staff throughout the assignment
Provide post-implementation support

Microsoft/Azure Development and Quality Assurance Experience - 65%

Experience participating in Scrum Agile development
Experience contributing as a Developer or Tester (QA) in a balanced team which is comprised of roles including Developers, Testers, product Management, and Design
Experience participating and contributing to task planning, daily stand ups, iteration demos, and review meetings
Providing input to development estimates and designs
Experience working with a team using concurrent development practices including Git-based source control, feature branches, and DevOps CI/CD pipelines

Business Analysis - 10%

Experience translating business requirements into software code/implementations
