Project Overview
Ontario’s death investigation system relies on dispatchers to assign coroners and other resources to investigations based on schedules, location, and circumstances. A new system is proposed using Salesforce Field Service modules to let coroners submit on-call availability, manage shift swaps/cancellations, and generate a master schedule. The solution will automate dispatching by assigning resources to death investigations by region using defined business rules, reducing manual assignment work.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Salesforce Field Service to meet business requirements
- Produce architectural deliverables, technical requirements, and solution design for a Salesforce solution
- Integrate Salesforce with other applications using web services or other mechanisms
- Document processes, technical designs, and architectural artifacts
- Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
- Report progress on deliverables to the team, project leads, and management, including proactively raising risks/issues with migrations
- Manage issues and user stories in Azure DevOps
- Deliver architectural and design documentation

Salesforce Experience - 35 points
- 10+ years of experience (including recent experience) solutioning and hands-on configuring in Salesforce
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant
- Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II

Design, Analysis, Development and Configuration - 30 points
- Demonstrated experience supporting, developing, maintaining, and configurating Salesforce Field Service solutions
- Hands-on experience configurating and troubleshooting of issues in Salesforce implementation and its integration with subsidiary systems in Development and Production environments
- Demonstrated experience configurating and integrating Salesforce with other applications using web services or other mechanisms
- Demonstrated experience designing and supporting the development of prototypes and proof of concepts
- Demonstrated experience conducting root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve defects/incidents resolve issues
- Demonstrated experience documenting build books, working with staff on actual implementation document performance measures of the new environments
- Experience conducting fit/gap analysis between high-level requirements and Salesforce Public Sector capabilities
- Experience conducting diagnostics and determining methods to help incident management
- Experience implementing AODA compliant solutions
Communication, Consultation and Collaboration Skills - 25 points

Agile Experience - 5 points
- Experience with Agile scrum methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with agile sprint management, bug tracking and testing life cycle management using Azure DevOps
- Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically DEV processes in agile development environment
Public Sector Experience - 5 points
- Previous experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations.
