As part of the City's vision, the Enterprise Work Management System (EWMS) Program is a coordinated set of projects to transform work management by providing an integrated solution including tools, processes, workflow, and best practises on a common technology platform. Deployment of Maximo will enable the consolidation of work information and will enable the rationalization of legacy systems across the enterprise, to one integrated work management environment for the City. Maximo once deployed will reduce duplication; reduce dependencies on unsupported technologies and legacy platforms; establish a system of record for work and asset maintenance for all participating and future divisions; provide accessibility and improve the integrity of work and asset maintenance functions and data across City divisions.
