Project Description
The Planning and Performance pillar of Hospital Sector Stabilization Plan (HSSP) is jointly led by the Ministry and the Agency. It focuses on the development of hospital balance plans and targeted supports based on hospital-specific context, organizational effectiveness, and financial health indicators. Regional problem-solving is being led through Regional Working Groups (RWGs). RWGs are responsible for: 1. Reviewing regional hospital balance plan initiatives that do not meet the definition of low risk. 2. Providing feedback and guidance on solutioning and improvement opportunities for specified initiatives. 3. Providing advice to the Agency and MOH on feasibility of regional balance plan implementation and interventions.
Job Description
Background Information:
The Planning and Performance pillar of Hospital Sector Stabilization Plan (HSSP) is jointly led by the Ministry and the Agency. It focuses on the development of hospital balance plans and targeted supports based on hospital-specific context, organizational effectiveness, and financial health indicators. Regional problem-solving is being led through Regional Working Groups (RWGs). RWGs are responsible for: 1. Reviewing regional hospital balance plan initiatives that do not meet the definition of low risk. 2. Providing feedback and guidance on solutioning and improvement opportunities for specified initiatives. 3. Providing advice to the Agency and MOH on feasibility of regional balance plan implementation and interventions.
As part of Responsibility #2, RWGs have selected areas of priority for regional collaboration with an aim of identifying shared opportunities for improvement, efficiency and cost savings. A Project Manager is required to support this work.
Must haves:
- Experience in managing projects in healthcare sector
- Strong stakeholder management, planning and resource management skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, organize inputs from multiple stakeholders, and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
- Collaboration, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that everybody works together effectively, this also involves conflict resolution
- Demonstrated experience leading and overseeing program strategy development from inception through to project close-out
- Demonstrated ability to develop successful relationship and build agreement with high-level internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience understanding and articulating executive expectations and translating into program deliverables
Responsibilities:
- Provide project management leadership and expertise of regionally scaled, complex, high profile initiatives.
- Responsible for managing the resources, scope, budget, schedule, and quality of deliverables of the assigned projects
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationship and effective communication with the sponsor(s), internal and external partners, and project team members
- Organize and lead project meetings
- Proactively identify and manage risks, and systematically resolve or escalate known issues
- Adhere to and promote Agency’s policies and processes including Privacy, Security, and Record Management
- Manage release of the product/project/work package to an operational environment

4.Technical Skills: 10 oints
- Knowledge/expertise of current health care trends
